Payment options
Defer Payment / Pay Supplier Direct
Select this option if you would like to arrange a mutually acceptable payment method with the supplier. The eBuildingSupplies site does not make any charge for this option but some suppliers may or may not charge for certain payment types. Please discuss this with the supplier after you have placed your order.
Online Credit Card 'Protect'
This payment method gives you extra protection and peace of mind when paying by credit card online, over and above that provided by your normal card issuer. Our independent payment provider Unimer (http://www.unimer.net) will only release the funds taken from your credit card once the supplier has confirmed that the goods have been delivered AND once you have had an opportunity (48 hours), to object to the funds being released to them. If you do object, for example the goods did not arrive or were not as ordered, we will try to assist you and the supplier to resolve your dispute to your mutual satisfaction in a neutral and impartial manner as described in our terms and conditions. We will not release the funds to the merchant until that process is complete and a refund will be processed to your benefit subject to the outcome of the process.
Bank Transfer 'Protect'
This payment method gives you extra protection and peace of mind when paying by direct bank transfer, a facility that would not be available to you if you paid the supplier direct. Our independent payment provider Unimer (http://www.unimer.net) will only release the funds that you provided once the supplier has confirmed that the goods have been delivered AND once you have had an opportunity (48 hours), to object to the funds being released to them. If you do object, for example the goods did not arrive or were not as ordered, we will try to assist you and the supplier to resolve your dispute to your mutual satisfaction in a neutral and impartial manner as described in our terms and conditions. We will not release the funds to the merchant until that process is complete and a refund will be processed to your benefit subject to the outcome of the process.

Using this payment method, you are able to pay for your order in full by credit or debit card securely online at the time you place your order. Our independent payment provider Unimer (http://www.unimer.net) will arrange for the funds taken securely from your card 'as agent' to be passed on to the the supplier. This method does not offer any additional protection that you would not receive from your card issuer and any refunds that might be due will need to be organised between yourself and the supplier directly.
Paypal
Using this payment method, you are able to pay for your order in full by credit or debit card securely online via Paypal at the time you place your order. Our independent payment provider Unimer (http://www.unimer.net) will arrange for the funds taken securely via Paypal from your card 'as agent' to be passed on to the the supplier. This method does not offer any additional protection that you would not receive from your card issuer and any refunds that might be due will need to be organised between yourself and the supplier directly.
